Text Box: Walker High SchoolBand of LegacyText Box: Jeff Seighman Director of Bands Since 2002 Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Music Education from ULM.  He also received a Master's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from LSU.  Before becoming the band director at Walker H.S., he was choir director for 2 years and assistant band director at Parkview Baptist School for 4 years where he worked with 5th-12th grade band.  In 2006, Jeff received the honor of Wal-Mart "Teacher of the Year" and the Walker High School “Teacher of the Year.” In 2009, Mr. Seighman achieved National Board Certification.
