Helpful Hint:  
Write separate checks for fees or fundraiser.  This helps with accuracy in bookkeeping.  Also, don't send in change.  Simply write one check for the fundraiser.

Walker High SchoolBand of LegacyText Box: Marching show for 2009 is “The Music of Billy Joel”

The band fee is $130 which is due by the Jamboree.

This covers the cost of uniform cleaning, transportation fees to football games, copy supplies, music, and normal instrument repair and upkeep.  With this fee, the student will also receive a 
t-shirt, shorts, polo shirt, and one pair of gloves.  If the student needs a  replacement for any portion of the uniform, there will be an additional charge.


Additional fees:

The band takes custom buses to band festivals that are over 120 miles (usually once in the fall and once in the spring).  This will cost an additional $30 per person per trip.  There is a possibility of a fundraiser to help defray this cost. 

Additional items to purchase for performances:
Black "Dinkle" marching shoes - $25 purchased through the director (ordered during band camp)
Black dress pants to wear with the provided green polo shirt (casual uniform for most parades, etc.  Can also be used in concert uniform option 2)
Black socks, Plain black belt
Guys:  White tux shirt, black bowtie, Black dress shoes (concert uniform)
Girls:  2 options 
(Option 1) = Long Black dress or skirt with long sleeves, black hose, black dress shoes 
(Option 2) = Black pants, Black long sleeve shirt, black socks/hose, black dress shoes
